Nurturing musical excellence

Private and Group Cello Lessons
I accept students as young as age four and my oldest beginning student was 82!
I believe the chemistry between a student and teacher are of paramount importance in the trajectory of a student's progress, so either a trial lesson or an observation is required before beginning lessons. For young children, more than one observation with a parent is recommended.
All students receive a weekly private lesson, as well as monthly group classes (an essential component of students' growth, providing friendship and community, ensemble-building skills, and interactive ways to develop and learn new skills) and a semester recital.
I utilize a wide variety of repertoire to aid in the technical and musical development of every unique pupil, including supplemental technique and etude books where appropriate.
